Take a look at the ITS World Congress 2021
Under the umbrella of ITS Austria, AustriaTech was represented together with seven Austrian partners from 11th to 15th October 2021 at the ITS World Congress in Hamburg. Under the motto "Experience Future Mobility Now", the latest developments were discussed. AustriaTech was also able to present various EU projects such as SHOW, AWARD, C-Roads, FRAME NEXT and many more.
CATAPULT goes Pörtschach
As part of the CATAPULT project, the potential of automated vehicles was discussed in theory and practice with students and senior citizens in Pörtschach on 19 and 20 October 2021. Among other things, the participants were able to take a test drive with an automated shuttle. The aim was to incorporate the findings and feedback into future project activities.
Open Journey planning for Europe
On 24th September 2021, the consortia of the Interreg projects OJP4Danube and LinkingAlps met to share experiences. The event focused on the development of the OJP standard to enable cross-border, barrier-free and seamless travel planning.
Putting collaboration in the center
"ITS Austria – US for USeful!" – was the motto of the ITS Austria conference on 20 September 2021, in which 150 experts participated. As part of the event, Federal Minister Gewessler took the opportunity to announce the "Action Plan for Digital Transformation in Mobility". Record in electromobility
Electromobility has been picking up speed since the beginning of the year. In September a new record has been achieved. Every fifth car registered in September was electric. You can find further information on electromobility in our monthly published brochure "Facts & Figures".

To address the workforce requirements in an automated mobility world, stakeholders of the WeTransform project will get together in a workshop on 17.11.2021. You can find further information here.
