C-ITS: Visit from Japan in Vienna "Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems" (C-ITS) actively contribute to road safety and more comfort on Europe's roads. Examples of how and where C-ITS is already being used in Austria were presented during the visit of a Japanese delegation in June. Both urban and deployment scenarios on motorways were demonstrated. UVAR Box invites to workshop The UVAR Box project is aiming to foster information to road users about urban and regional access schemes (UVARs). Therefore the project invites you to the workshop “Sustainable UVAR data collection – A challenge to be mastered” on 4th August 2022 to discuss the stated challenges in providing UVAR data and future prospects for reliable provision of UVAR data on European as well as on Member state level. Cross-border travel with LinkingAlps How can cross-border travel information in the Alpine region be improved? The LinkingAlps project has been working for more than three years on how to provide information easily and reliably without having to share data across regions or borders. The results of the project will be presented in Aix-en-Provence from Tips Save the date: This year's ITS Austria Conference will take place on 4.11.2022 at the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Vienna.
