ITS Austria Conference 2022 On November 4, 2022, the ITS Austria Conference 2022 took place under the motto "Digital Transformation in Mobility". In addition to the presentation of the Action Plan Digital Transformation in Mobility (AP-DTM) by Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler, participants also gained insights into international digitization projects in mobility. During the panel discussion, national stakeholders discussed their expectations of the AP-DTM. September 2022: Record month in electromobility Since September 2022, more than 100,000 all-electric passenger cars (BEVs) have been on the road in Austria. In Vienna alone, around 25 % of the newly registered passenger cars were fully electric. Compared to 2021, the annual average of new BEV registrations in total new registrations was already exceeded this month. Tips The WE-TRANSFORM project investigates the impact of automation on the labour market in the transport sector along with specific use cases and solution scenarios. At the 4th Stakeholder Forum Workshop of the project on 19.1.2023, the project's progress so far will be discussed and the transition to automation will be debated. Click here to register.
